Makayla and her cousin at the play.

Makayla's school play

Makayla was in her school play. I spent hours/days on her costume that I thought was going to be a simple project to take on. Thirty dollars and 3 days later we finally had a finished project. Needless to say we will be using it for Halloween too. I think, once again, I went a little over board!

Dinosaur Park

Lance and Katie left the boys with us during their trip to Las Vegas.

We had an exhausting, but great time.

When we got to the park Cordon was mad about something. I think it may have been because we left the dinosaurs. Im not sure why because he was scared to death of them.

Cameron is just so mellow and cute!

I think Darren loved having so many playmates.

My kids had just as much fun too.

We look forward to next year when we can do it more often. With Lance and Katie of course!

Happy New Years!

I cant believe the holiday season has come and gone. I kept the decorations up longer this year than I ever have. I can't decide if I was just dreading the job of taking it down or in denial that the season is over. Regardless, today was the day. I got it all boxed up now I just have to put the boxes up in the attic with Matts help. The best thing about the holidays being over is the begining of the new year. I love new years resolutions and the hope for an even better year than the last!

We actually decorated!!!

What a year! We got our first REAL christmas tree (the biggest tree we have ever had). Thanks to my grandma. She wanted it cut down last year, but we didn't get to it until this year. Hopefully she doesn't regret the decision. The sacrifice of a real tree made me definately feel the need to enjoy it. So today I started trying to decorate it and it just wasn't happening. So I called my mother-in-law and asked her if she could come over and give me some advice. She came and brought more stuff to help pull it all together. She is awesome! I have never really known where to begin with decorating and she is so good at it. It was alot of fun and hopefully next year I can conquer the task without so much help. I cant stop looking at the room. (you just cant get the same effect with the picture) It looks great! I dont know if she knows about our blog, but if she does "thank you SOOO much".
